PERINET VINEYARDSThe Perinet vineyards encompass three great visions of historic Priorat. The project as a whole allows the Perinet vines to shape a new balance of styles in winemaking. Specifically, the three vineyard climates correspond to three wine styles: warm and ripe: Mas Vell, fresh and long: Mas del Xes, and Mediterranean and aromatic: Pendents, in the municipality of Porrera.
The three plots show a strong personality where various local and international varieties grow on steep slopes and terraces of different exposure and orientation. This authenticity of the landscape is reflected in different wines from the estate, always linked to the climate and slate soil of Priorat.

The combination of merlot, syrah, grenache, and carignan grapes from young vines creates a wine that fills the mouth with vitality and complexity. The grape selection allows for a smooth tannin ripening, freshness, and remarkable acidity. The blend is made up of merlot, syrah, grenache, and carignan that ferment and age for 12 months in stainless steel tanks.
Pairing: At Made in Spain we recommend it with meats, aged sheep and goat cheeses, Foie gras.
The region has the coveted DOCa...
Currently, the region has the coveted "Denominación de Origen Calificada" designation that in Spain is only shared with Rioja.
The Denominación de Origen Calificada Priorat is a small mountainous region located in the province of Tarragona. The Montsant mountain range delimits it to the north, to the west is the La Figuera mountain range, to the east is the Molló mountain range, and to the south, the territory opens following the course of the Siurana river downstream towards the Ebro. The Siurana river and its tributaries are the main geographic artery of the area, causing a series of valleys and small plains thanks to the geological sinuosity of the mountains and mountain slopes. According to the legislation of Catalonia regarding regional administrative division, the territory of the DOQ Priorat is within a larger administrative demarcation known as the "Comarca del Priorat," which also has a part of the territory that is not part of the wine-growing Priorat.
The Denominación de Origen Calificada Priorat has an area of 17,629 hectares, of which 2,163.97 are planted with vines and cultivated by 513 viticulturists. Administratively, 9 municipalities are part of the DOQ Priorat: Bellmunt del Priorat, Gratallops, El Lloar, El Molar, La Morera de Montsant (which includes the village of Scala Dei in its term), Poboleda, Porrera, Torroja del Priorat, La Vilella Alta, and La Vilella Baixa. Additionally, on the limits of the DOQ Priorat, the northern part of the Falset municipality (the Masos de Falset area) and the eastern part of the El Molar municipality (Les Solanes del Molar) are also located. La Morera de Montsant, Scala Dei, Gratallops, Torroja del Priorat, Porrera, and Poboleda formerly integrated the Priorat of the Carthusian Monastery of Scala Dei. The rest were included in the designation of origin made in 1932 and that shapes the current territory of the DOQ Priorat. As a result of
