Mezcal Alipus San Juan Joven is a young white mezcal made from Angustifolia Haw agave from high-altitude mountain Capón, which results in less exposure to the sun and no water stagnation. It undergoes double distillation in copper stills and is fermented in tall conical oak vats.
TASTING NOTES:
Appearance: straw-colored with transparent tones.
Nose: smoky, herbaceous, and earthy.
Palate: persistent smoky character, herbal notes, with a mineralized hint.
