Produced in the remote village of Nombre de Dios in Durango, northern Mexico Derrumbes Durango defines and explains what a good Mexican mezcal is. More and more mezcals are coming out of Durango and Nombre de Dios is establishing itself as a mezcal stronghold in the state. It is a varietal made exclusively from Durangensis, the endemic agave of Durango, and represents the expressions of the Derrumbe family distilled in unique wood and copper stills. This still is unique because it has an external condensation neck.
Mezcal is a gem of origin denomination, with its vast riches from the land, with each producing region contributing to the great cultural tapestry. Each expression that Derrumbes offers comes from and represents a specific region. Each of these regions was chosen to showcase its traditions, terroir, and the historical taste of each town where it is made. This creates a unique experience of flavors and styles.
