The Wine Muga Crianza is a classic of La Rioja. It is made from a harmonious blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 7% Mazuelo and 3% Graciano with a long step through wood.
It ferments in oak deposits and then passes to American and French oak casks, elaborated in its own cooperage, where it rests for 24 months. It is then clarified with natural egg white and bottled. Muga Crianza subsequently rests for 12 months in the bottle itself so that the final product is a balanced and round wine.
Tasting in sight: Cherry red colour, intense, with ruby trim and purple hues. Clean and very bright. Of a middle layer, it has an abundant tear.
Tasting on the nose: A high-intensity nose dominated by intense red and black ripe fruit that gives way to aromatic floral notes and first toasted aromas. When opened, the wine gains in complexity and the fruit is mixed with kind touches of spices, more expressive toast, balsamic notes, souvenirs of leather, coffee and cocoa.
Tasting in the mouth: It is a red wine of long, tasty and meaty, with the ripe fruit dominating on an intense background of the ageing wrapped in creamy vanillas. A balanced, structured wine. Excellent acidity and very pleasant and perfectly assembled tannins. Long and very persistent finish.
