The Mureda Winery presents Mureda Gran Cuvee Sparkling Wine, originating from the land of La Mancha, Castilla (Spain) and made from the Chardonnay grape variety.

Mureda Gran Cuvee Sparkling Wine is produced in the Sierra Alcaraz vineyards. The climate here is a temperate Mediterranean with a mountainous character and average annual rainfall. The temperature contrast between day and night creates a slow and progressive ripening process, which enhances the accumulation of aromas and flavors in the grapes. In addition, there is increased radiation, which facilitates photosynthesis and intensifies the color of the grape berries. This results in ripe grapes with an optimal balance of acids and sugars, creating an unimaginable aromatic expression. The winery is designed to produce wines of all sizes, with tanks that can hold up to 600,000 liters.

Mureda Gran Cuvee Sparkling Wine is ideal as an aperitif, to accompany seafood, or with desserts.

It can be enjoyed between 7º - 9ºC.

Mureda Winery

The Mureda Winery was originally called "La casa de la Mora" (The House of the Moor), as a Moorish princess lived within its walls, known for her beauty and personality that stood out throughout the city. The Mureda House exhibits characteristics of Moorish art, which developed in the Christian kingdoms of the Iberian Peninsula but incorporated Hispanic-Muslim influences. The more than 1,200 hectares that make up the Mureda lands are located between the Montiel Fields, the Alcaraz Mountains, and the Calatrava Fields, a welcoming environment and the birthplace of Spanish history.
