Before cooking the couscous, it is recommended to toast a little until the color changes. Boil 1 cup and a half of water with a pinch of sea salt. Turn off the heat and add 1 cup of couscous. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes for the couscous to absorb the water. It can also be steamed, cooking it for 5 to 10 minutes.
