Traditionally, pitarra wine has been the quintessential drink at slaughterhouses and parties in Extremadura and Castilla where they would taste hornazos, migas, gachas,... or simply chat among friends. Wine made in a traditional way and with a graduation of about 14º light, aromatic, with good structure and fruity smell.
Pitarra wine is known as wines made in an artisanal way, as it was done in the past, from the grape harvest, stomping and care without adding chemical products, so its flavor and aromas are very pleasing and with a high alcohol content, between 12 and 15 degrees. This Extremaduran rosé pitarra wine is one of the best wines from the land of Extremadura, specifically in the province of Cáceres and the south of Badajoz. Made in an artisanal way and packaged in clay jars called pitarras, hence its name.
