The Balfegó wild Tuna live in pools off the coast of l’Ametlla de Mar (Tarragona) and are fed exclusively with blue fish, allowing them to extract the tuna from the sea at their optimal fat point. The extraction method they use guarantees a stress-free product, obtaining a Red Tuna of excellent gastronomic value, present in many of the best restaurants on the planet.

A non-profit project that invests all its income in the recovery of the Salty Valley of Añana, where one of the oldest saltworks in the world is located, with more than 6,500 years of history.
The Balfegó Red Tuna is certified by AENOR in terms of environmental sustainability, authenticity, traceability and good practices related to the prevention of anisakis. Their commitment to sustainability is also reflected in the ingredients contained in their products.

Red tuna (Thunnus Thynnus), extra virgin olive oil, and salt from Añana.
