The Rebel.Lia Organic Red Wine comes from Vegalfaro Winery with D.O.P. Utiel - Requena, made from 3 types of grapes.
VINTAGE 2015
It was characterized by a severe drought. However, this helped to achieve excellent grape health as there was hardly any rain in spring and during the ripening period of the white and early red grapes, it did not get excessively hot, resulting in freshness and very good aromas from the skin. Halfway through the harvest, there were rains that required waiting longer for the long-cycle red grapes, but their health helped them withstand well, achieving great potential.
VARIETIES
Bobal (30%), Tempranillo (35%), and Garnacha Tintorera (35%) from the Casa Alfaro estate. Plantation in trellis system on clay-limestone soil with gravel in the subsoil. Double cordon pruning and summer pruning to control production and improve fruit quality. Harvest takes place from mid-September until the last week of October, depending on the variety.
PRODUCTION
This wine is the result of blending the individual vinifications of each variety. Once the coupage is made, it ages in barrels for approximately 4 months.
