Red Wine Casa Illana Bobal Parcela.
It is a red wine produced by Bodega Illana with D.O Ribera del Júcar in Castilla La Mancha. Produced in Finca Buenavista Estate, near the city of Pozoamargo, in the province of Cuenca, it is the result of 100% Bobal grapes. From this variety, powerful, full-bodied red wines are produced, intense and mature with hints of fruit that blend into a serious and well-presented oak. Characterized by the excellent quality of its grapes and the perfect harmony between tradition, craftsmanship, and a strong family spirit are some of the characteristics that define Bodegas y Vinedos Illana.
Inside the winery, they have the latest technological innovations, which, combined with the quality of the grapes they produce, allow them to make wines of excellent quality. Their soils are characterized as clay-limestone, covered with pebbles, retaining water and allowing great regularity in periods of drought in a continental and dry climate where the pebbles, besides serving as insulation, reflect the sunlight on the grapes, allowing their permanent ripening. Rated 94 points by Parker, Luis Gutierrez, June 2016 and 90 points by Guía Peñín 2017, quite a record considering its price. Without a doubt, Casa Illana Bobal red wine is one of the best wines in Spain in terms of value for money, as it can be compared to any other wine.
Aged for 14 months in French barrels.
Alcohol content: 14%
