Red Wine NOC Coupage: This wine has been awarded the silver medal at Bacchus 2020, and is one of the stars of the winery.
An unusual coupage that takes the fleshy mouthfeel from Syrah, the aroma from Tempranillo, the rusticity from Petit Verdot, and the structure from Cabernet Sauvignon.
The vineyards for the production of this wine Mernat are located in Los Yébenes and cover an area of 3.5ha. of gravel and clay soil at an altitude of 850m with slopes of 25%. Harvesting is done at night to ensure the grapes arrive at the winery in the best conditions, where they undergo manual selection and destemming, followed by separate vinification of the varieties in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation in old concrete vats. Subsequently, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels to begin its aging, where it remains for 12 months.
It has an alcohol content of 14.5%
