Aroma: Smooth nose. The top notes are of almond oil, very fragrant, supported by dried fruits (dates, prunes, candied angelica), on a base of marzipan glazed with hard caramel and dipped in dark chocolate. A suggestion of espresso in the development.
Palate: A smooth texture and flavour that starts sweet and dries elegantly to a long, warm, slightly spicy (black pepper) finish, with a trace of espresso and crystalline sugar (and then dark chocolate) in the aftertaste.
Comment: Smooth and round, with depth and personality. A perfect digestif
