The Brown Ale style was produced in the north of the island, ceased to be produced in the late nineteenth century, and that, thanks to Samuel Smith, among others, is booming again
[BOTTLE 35 CL]
English beer, 5% alcohol, top fermented.
The Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale has a reddish-brown colour, typical of this style of beer, with a fluffy white foam of medium-high durability
Although predominantly roasted malt, nuts are appreciated in the aroma
The malts used give this beer a characteristic nutty and hazelnut flavor that is given by the use of open fermenters, made with slate plates in the Yorkshire area
It can be consumed accompanied by game dishes, poultry or cheese stilton.
