Traditional style cider (Asturias)
This project was born from the idea of José Luis García Meana, Asturian businessman, to recover cider in the traditional style (slow production systems but much more extracts of the essences and properties of the apple) and of the spirits derived from cider by distillation (spirits-spirits of extraordinary organoleptic qualities (French Calvados) and even sanitary (digestive, cordial applications, etc. in intake and also topical for muscle aches, strokes, etc.). All the processes of planting, harvesting, manufacturing, biochemical processes of fermentation, rest, distillation are absolutely natural. All the raw materials for the two manufacturing phases are of Asturian origin. In this sense, José Luis' commitment to the region has been proven in all his business initiatives. The apple is self-produced and from some Asturian farms in the Gijón-Villaviciosa coastal area, supervised by La Casería and which are suitable for the mixture due to the soil conditions of the territory of origin, providing complexity and enriching the flavorful characteristics of the final product (experience) .
