SoHo's Fino Spritz is a refreshing and slightly sparkling drink made with a base of Fino Sherry and natural aromas of lemon, mint, and bergamot.
Its low alcohol content (5.5%) makes it perfect as an aperitif or light cocktail and it can also be enjoyed with meals.
This Fino Spritz owes its origin to the Sherry Cobbler, a famous cocktail that became a sensation and a trend in the 1830s in the United States. This great success is largely attributed to Martha King (1802-1851), considered the first female bartender in the history of mixology in the United States, who contributed to the spread and popularity of the Sherry Cobbler from Niblo's Garden, the bar she ran in the Soho neighborhood of New York.
