La Faraona 2017 is an aged red wine from DO Bierzo and made by Bodegas Descendientes de J. Palacios from vines grown in magma soils at an altitude of over 800 meters above sea level.
The Mencía grapes used to produce this wine come from the El Ferro vineyard, with an area of 1 hectare, with old vines about 70 years old, on clay-limestone and slate soils.
