La Chinata thyme honey is a complex natural food made by bees from thyme flowers and has great nutritional and therapeutic values. This variety of honey has a reddish color and a very pleasant sweet and aromatic flavor, with a thick consistency.
It is especially indicated for respiratory conditions of inflammatory type, for whooping cough and asthma. It also regulates blood pressure, as well as tonic and antiseptic, and activates the functions of the digestive system. It is therefore very suitable for abnormalities such as indigestion, heartburn or other ailments related to poor digestion of food.
It is a pure honey and therefore tends to solidify with the cold, so it is recommended to heat in a water bath or microwave before taking it

The history of La Chinata dates back to 1932, when our ancestors began to mill the olives of our region, the Sierra de Gata. At that time, the oil was obtained from very rudimentary mills. The olives were crushed in stone mills or empiedros and a paste was obtained which was later introduced into a press to extract the olive oil. Layers of paste were formed, separated by circular plates known as capachos, which were placed in a press, and by pressing, the olive oil was obtained. Today, we have the most modern systems of milling and pressing, which even being purely mechanical can extract much more oil from the olives, in a clean and controlled way, to ensure the quality of the Extra Virgin Olive Oil
