The Vermut Siderit Reserva is an exceptional vermouth made from Pedro Ximénez grapes and subjected to a double maceration of herbs. The first maceration includes the typical bitters of vermouth, while the second maceration is done with meliferous flowers from the mountains of the Cantabrian Cornice, where heather predominates.
This second maceration brings an aroma and flavor of honey without the addition of caramel, resulting in a vermouth without added sugars, using only the natural sugar of the Pedro Ximénez itself.
The Vermut Siderit Reserva has been aged in a Spanish white oak barrel for 24 months, giving it a dark amber and very bright tone, as well as a very fine palate with hints of vanilla.
The Vermut Siderit Reserva presents a dark amber and very bright color. On the nose, intense notes of honey, wild flowers, and aromatic herbs are perceived, with a spicy and woody touch from its aging in oak. On the palate, it is smooth and balanced, with a fine palate highlighted by hints of vanilla and the natural sweetness of Pedro Ximénez. The aftertaste is long and persistent, with a perfect balance between the bitters of vermouth and the smoothness of the meliferous flowers.
