This whiskey Bourbon was born in 1812 in Kentucky, USA, where it is now the oldest and smallest distillery in this state. What distinguishes this whiskey from other brands is that the distillery is surrounded by oaks, fresh limestone water and, of course, the mixture of grains-where maize is the protagonist. In addition, Woodford Reserve brings back its old artisanal distillation techniques in copper stills that give a special flavor and reinforce the character of this beverage.
Woodford Reserve is caramel orange, coming 100% of the barrel. The barrels are new in white American oak.
