Made in Spain Gourmet always offers the best of Spanish gastronomy.
The Iberian salchichón Señorío de Montanera is made with lean cuts from ham and shoulder, and other carefully selected extra lean cuts from 100% Iberian acorn-fed pigs. The standout ingredients in its seasoning are ground and whole black pepper, and grated nutmeg. The proportions of the different ingredients were chosen from the best traditional cured meats made artisanally in the slaughterhouses of the region, and kept as one of the main treasures of Señorío de Montanera.
When sliced, the Iberian salchichón presents a very pronounced purple-red color, dotted with reddish-white. Its exquisite taste and artisanal preparation gift it with a fresh aroma of cured meat and a blend of specific nuances from the spices used. Its traditional flavor is reminiscent of the one made in the best homemade slaughters of Extremadura.
In the mouth, it has a fleshy and smooth texture, resulting from the mixture of ham and shoulder cuts and the explosion of black pepper and nutmeg. Its juiciness is extraordinary and leaves a sensation in the mouth similar to that of acorn-fed Iberian shoulder, as it is one of the predominant ingredients in its preparation.
It is vacuum-packed and presented in a gift box.
