Visual Phase Clean and bright. Cherry red with violet edges, medium layer.
Olfactory Phase Intense aroma, with predominance of fruit, notes of red fruits and violets well blended with the notes of both types of oak.
Gustatory Phase Friendly entry, good balance, medium body, fresh and persistent.
Vintage Characteristics
Dry year with a total annual rainfall of 364 L, which determines a harvest of low yields, good ripening and extraordinary concentration.
Temperatures in the summer were warm, with heat waves at the beginning of summer that initially advanced the vine cycle. A second half of August and a month of September with milder temperatures, as well as frequent rainfall, allowed to extend the cycle, with a slow ripening that caused the grapes to present good levels of acidity, with a better and more balanced phenolic ripeness.
