Elaboration and Aging

Artadi Viñas de Gaín comes from vineyards over 25 years old. These vineyards are located at a higher altitude than the others (600 m.) and hence the name Gaín, which means height.

This wine has aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Note of Artadi Viñas de Gaín

• Appearance: Artadi Viñas de Gaín has an intense cherry color. Bright with freshness and cleanliness.
• Nose: Aromas of red fruits and blackberries, with balsamic notes, licorice, toasted and exotic woods.
• Palate: Structured, unctuous, with fine and elegant tannins. Long. Persistent mature and fresh tannin.

Pairing

Artadi Viñas de Gaín is ideal to accompany grilled vegetables, grilled fish, grilled chops, garlic rabbit or duck magret.

It is recommended to consume at a temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
