The 2021-2022 campaign had a very warm character, with an average temperature well above the historical average. The winter was not very cold and rainfall very similar to the average, however, after the month of April there was no rainfall until the end of August. Spring was very warm, with temperatures hovering around 30 degrees already at the end of March, then came some very mild frosts that delayed budbreak a bit. After that, heat and lack of rain were the norm until the end of the season. At the end of August a big storm affected the beginning of the season.
