Cardeña Quadrupel is the third beer from Cardeña after the Tripel and the Dubbel. It is brewed under the supervision of the monks of the Cardeña Monastery in Burgos and, therefore, the first Spanish Trappist beer. It cannot carry the Trappist logo as it is brewed outside the walls of their monastery. It has been brewed since September 2023.
[33 CL BOTTLE]
Spanish beer with Trappist denomination, 10.0% alcohol, high fermentation and second fermentation in the bottle.
It has a deep amber color with abundant foam and high retention. Sweet and fruity aroma with a slight alcoholic sensation.
Pleasant and silky taste with fruity notes of plum and caramelized pear. The prolonged final sweetness is reinforced by the smooth alcoholic warmth reminiscent of traditional Belgian and Dutch Trappist beers of this style.
