The Chimay Dorée, until 2013, was intended exclusively for members of the monastic community, guests and lay workers of Chimay. It was also available for tasting at the Auberge du Poteaupré, the inn of the monastery of Chimay.

The aroma is typical of Chimay yeast, soft malt and bread. Cilantro and curaçao, floral notes, grass and apple are appreciated
The flavor is highly balanced with a slightly sweet sensation from the malt, fruit and spice aroma reminiscent of tangerine. It transforms into a pleasantly light, fresh and dry finish
