The Chimay Red has been brewed since 1948.Chimay Red has been brewed since 1948 and is the oldest of their beers. In 1862, the monks of Chimay brewed their first beer following the monastic traditions of natural brewing and was the predecessor of the current one The 75cl format is called Chimay Première for being the first of the current Chimay range.
