The 2013 wine year proved to be a welcome reconnection with the glorious past of the late vintages. After a cold, wet winter and a cool, rainy spring, the hot, dry summer was particularly good for the quality of the grapes.

Nose
The nose is fine and light in colour. Green eucalyptus, mint and vetiver. Mirabelle plum, apricot and orange-yellow orange blossom. The brown of pepper, cardamom and liquorice stick. Silver iodine and toasted flavour.

Palate
The palate is elegant, simple and precise. The attack is enveloping and airy. The fine, silky structure of the wine intensifies. The saline sensation predominates on the finish and reveals a profound coherence.
