[BOTTLE 33 CL]
Duchesse de la Bourgogne is one of the stars of the traditional Belgian beer, Flemish Red Ale.
At Brouwerij Verhaeghe, Duchesse Cherry Chocolate is made from Duchesse de Bourgogne
At Brouwerij Verhaeghe, for Duchesse Cherry Chocolate we start with Duchesse de Bourgogne and add 20 kg of fresh Belgian sour cherries (from the province of Limburg) per 100 litres of beer to the barrels, maturing for 6 months. After this maceration we get the Duchesse Cherry. Subsequently, and before bottling, a natural cocoa distillate is added which gives it a chocolate aftertaste and the name: Duchesse Cherry Chocolate.
Its deep red color invites you to enjoy its main chocolate aroma in addition to aromas of cherry, vanilla and passion fruit and its balanced taste of malt, sweetness and acidity with hints of oak
Recommended both to open mouth and in combination with sweet desserts based on red fruits
