Finca El Ciprés, located on the north slope of Picacho volcano in Nejapa, San Salvador, has been in the family since 1880.
Currently, it is managed by the Alvares Gallardo family since 1992, who have improved the farm and obtained RFA certification.
With 90 hectares of coffee and 5 of natural forest, it produces 3,000 sacks per year. They practice sustainable methods, such as shade-grown cultivation, and prioritize the social welfare of their workers, providing housing, food, and education for their children.
The farm is committed to responsible agriculture and environmental protection.
