The Pacharán Ezcaba from Bodegas Navarras, presents this Anis of the finest palate.
In 1987 we launched Pacharán Navarro Ezcaba as a tribute to a historical product of our winery: Ezcaba champagne. From 1940 to 1972 we elaborated this exquisite and renowned sparkling white wine in our facilities following the "Champenoise" elaboration method. It also recalls, with the affection that all the villaveseses profess, our nearest mountain: the Ezcaba mountain.
ElPacharán Ezcabaelaborated with more than 250 gr. of sloes during 6 months in repose. The difference with Pacharán Basarana Etiqueta Negra is that Pacharán Ezcaba contains slightly more sugar and is bottled in our characteristic Anís Las Cadenas bottle.
Before opening: Absence of total light. Light is one of the main agents in charge in the degradation of the beverage, it accelerates the natural oxidation process shortening considerably the life of pacharan. Constant temperature. Heat is the other major cause of the oxidation of pacharán, so always try to store it out of reach of heat sources.
Once opened: it is advisable to keep it in the refrigerator, thus maintaining its properties, characteristics and nuances for a longer period of time.
Alone Tasting it alone allows us to appreciate all the aromas of the drink. The way to enjoy pacharán to the fullest is to drink it cold (having refrigerated it prior to consumption).
Ice This is usually how it is served in catering establishments. It is preferable to drink it cold rather than with ice, as it spoils the flavor and aromas of pacharán. If what we are looking for is to lower the alcohol content of the drink, it is better to consume products such as Basarana 20, which maintains all the flavor of Basarana Etiqueta Negra, but with a lower alcohol content. It is usually served both in a glass and in an aniseed glass.
Combinado As a combined drink, the most popular is the "butane", which is obtained by adding orange juice or orange soda (according to taste) to pacharán. It is served in a tube glass with ice.
