More information

Isle of Jura Prophecy is a Scottish single malt from the island region, specifically from Jura Island. A deeply disturbed whisky drawn from a selection of rare and ancient whiskies from the distillery. Prophecy is not filtered in cold to enhance the peat and is aged in barrels of bourbon, sherry and Limousin, to provide complexity.

It is said that centuries ago, an old seer prophesied that the last Campbell who would leave the island would do without a penny. In 1938, this came true. To commemorate this legend, the symbol of the ' all-seeing eye ' decorates each bottle.

Tasting note by Isle of Jura Prophecy

Isle of Jura Prophecy is golden burning embers.

An exquisite burst of bonfire smoke slowly gives way to hot and salty sea foam.

In the mouth, powerful peat smoke and hot sea foam open up the palate, followed by soft licorice flavors, hot cinnamon and nutmeg.

Without cold filtering to provide a great peat accent, this complex and structured whiskey ages in oak casks of Bourbon, Sherry and Limousin.
