The Faro style is a gueuze to which candied sugar is added in the bottle. It is a blend of 2/3 part young Lambic and 1/3 part aged Lambic. Until the 19th century it was a very common style in the Brussels region, although it fell into oblivion until Lindemans rescued it in 1978.

The aromas are very intense aromas of malt and caramel, hints of fruit and more faint yeast
The taste is balanced balancing from the acidic roasted gueuze to the bittersweetness of sour apple and sugar, with long, dry aftertaste and hints of yeast.
The Lindemans Faro is recommended as a refreshing beer in summer or to accompany desserts.
