Uses in the kitchen
Natural: Seasoned in salads.
Toasted: Baked as an appetizer. Crushed as a seasoning.
Boiled: In soups, creams, croquettes, empanadas, scrambled eggs, rice and stews.
Preparation
Hydrated: Soak in water with a little salt for 5 minutes. When hydrated, it increases four times its weight in dry.
Cooking: Cook for 5 minutes.
Toasted: Toast in oven or pan until it changes color.
