The Quinta do Noval, a Portuguese winery that is a benchmark in the production of quality wines, is one of the leading exporters ofVinho do Porto and is located on the left bank of the river Pinhâo, in the Douro Valley, surrounded by its vineyards which are terraced on the slopes and tributaries of the river.
The grapes with which this Noval Tawny Port is made are exclusively of "A" quality and come from the heart of the Douro. They are vinified by pumping over in stainless steel tanks and temperature controlled.
The wines that make up the blend of this Portoare aged for a minimum of three years in oak barrels.
The Tawny wines are Porto wines that have a minimum of 3 years of average ageing and which, due to their ageing, present more complexity of aromas and flavours, and their colour is closer to golden brown.
