Each unit contains 500gr of periwinkle.
Known in Galicia as caramuxo and caramecha, the periwinkle is a little known mollusc but when we take it to our mouth it is as if we were taking to our mouth a piece of sea. The periwinkles are a different appetizer as well as tasty, it will also be a starter with which to entertain and enjoy our guests.
The periwinkle is elongated due to the shell in which it resides. Its texture is smooth at first and pale in colour, while as it is removed from its shell it is softer and has a darker colour.
In order to eat the periwinkle, we recommend using a pin to prick it in the flesh and remove it from its shell
It is calculated 1 kilo of periwinkles for 3-4 persons
