Manual harvest. Strict control of ripening in the vineyard. Long pre-fermentation maceration period at low temperatures. Slow fermentation at controlled temperature. 18 months in new French oak (70%) and American oak (30%).
Intense ruby color. Very aromatic with ripe black fruit confit accompanied by menthol, mineral, spicy and toasty notes. Well balanced, with a surprising mouth-filling texture. The tannins are round and soft while still making their presence felt. Elegant and smooth with a lingering finish.
