Collected on the farms of our farmers in the Steppe Plateau, located in the north of Granada, Almería, and Northwest Murcia, these almonds go through their normal shelling process and after this, a handmade toasting process.

Our farmers were already within the framework of organic agriculture and, for several years now, since 2016, they have been adding the knowledge acquired through training and supervision from the Alvelal Association in regenerative practices. The farmers who formed the Almendrehesa society relied on this differential base of applying regenerative practices in their daily lives and thus produce not only organic almonds, but regenerative organic almonds of soil and landscape.
These practices implemented through the operational group "4 returns" are the ones that ensure a fertile future for the next generations, those that aim to and are achieving that the soil nutrients remain and that biodiversity generates its own native ecosystem of the area. The applied practices include:
- Creation of vegetation cover with native species chosen specifically to support that particular soil and its characteristics, within the framework of the ecosystem in which it is located.
- Oasification by creating natural ponds for collecting rainwater.
- Whales to capture water near the trees and keep it.
- Minimal plowing.
- Planting windbreak hedges to attract pollinators.
- Planting aromatic herbs.
- Inclusion of bee panels.
- Inclusion of extensive livestock in the farms.
- Inclusion of green manure, pruning shredding, and addition to the soil.
