Scalabrone Tenuta Guado al Tasso Antinori is a rosé wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grapes in the Bolgheri region of Italy by the Marchesi Antinori winery.
This elegant rosé wine from Italy is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grape varieties. When perfect physiological maturity is ensured, the grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, without the help of rough and less selective harvesters. After the harvest, the grapes are taken to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are carefully sorted and crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Fermentation is followed by ageing for a few months on fine lees.
Scalabrone has a slightly faded peony pink colour.
The nose is intense, with aromas of red fruit and a touch of riper yellow-fleshed fruit that completes the bouquet.
The palate is lively, pleasantly fresh and fruity with a lingering finish.
