Perrunillas with EVOO are a very popular sweet treat from Extremadura's gastronomy, classified by many authors as a 'convent sweet', as it has traditionally been a recipe made by nuns.

In this case, we have made them with Extra Virgin Olive Oil instead of lard, which gives them a lighter and smoother flavor.
