Viña Pomal Blanco 2014

Viña Pomal Blanco is a white wine of the D.O. Rioja made by bodegas Bilbainas. Viña Pomal reflects in this wine the best winemaking tradition of la Rioja Alta in the elaboration of white wines of great freshness and balance. To the Hundred years of history elaborating wines of great quality and consolidated prestige, it adds the unbeatable situation of a vineyard of its own, in the municipality of Haro.

It is made from the traditional varieties of the region: Viura and Malvasia. After the destemming takes place a brief maceration (6h) and its subsequent pressing. The must flower ferments in barrels of American oak and French Oak (50/50) New at a temperature of 15-18 º C, remaining in these 4 months in contact with its lees. Aided by soft batonages, the wine increases and complexity and widens its volume in the mouth.
