This wine reflects the best winemaking tradition of the Rioja Alta in the production of white wines of great freshness and balance. It has a hundred years of history making wines of great quality and consolidated prestige, now adds the inmejorable situation of its own vineyard, in the municipality of Haro.
Viña Pomal Blanco is made from the traditional varieties of the region: Viura and Malvasía. After destemming, a brief skin maceration (6h) and subsequent pressing takes place. The must ferments in new American and French oak barrels (50/50) at a temperature of 15-18 ºC, remaining in contact with its lees for 4 months. Aided by soft batonnages, the wine increases its complexity and broadens its volume in the mouth. If you have any questions when buying Viña Pomal White Wine, please contact the sommelier of our online store and he will advise you without obligation.
