The Passport whisky is a Scottish whisky created in 1965. The malts used to make it come from Glen Keith, a distillery built in 1957 on the ruins of an old 18th-century mill.
The Whisky Passport combines the malt flavor of the highest lands with the lighter and sweeter whisky of the lower lands.
Appearance: The Whisky Passport has a light gold color.
Nose: Fruity nose, with a distinct banana note that some find very interesting but others see as a flaw in the whisky. Additionally, there are notes of caramel, vanilla, syrup, and wood.
Palate: Light-bodied and smooth entry, it becomes interesting on the palate with pronounced notes of coffee, chocolate, and vanilla.
Its finish is creamy with flavors of chocolate and coffee.
It can be enjoyed neat with plenty of ice, with water, or mixed with any type of soda.
