Our Shichimi Togarashi Almond is changing its name to Seven Spice Almond.
We roast the Valencia Almond with skin with, on one hand, 7 spices, whose blend originates in Japan, where they are used to enhance the elegant and fresh flavors of the country's cuisine. There they call it Shichimi Togarashi, where Shichimi means Seven and Togarashi means Spices.
We carefully add a touch of spicy pimentón de la Vera, in precise proportions, to provide a subtle spicy note that fades gently on the palate. This subtle intensity perfectly complements the natural nuances of the almond, adding an exciting contrast without overwhelming its delicious flavor.
To further enhance its distinctive character, we apply a delicate natural smoking that harmoniously blends with the almond skin. This artisanal process gives each almond a rustic and smoky flavor.
