Vino Tinto 5 DO`s 2012 is a signature wine, it is a unique wine, obtained from native varieties of Castilla y León, grown in vineyards over 50 years old and harvested by hand in boxes.
Made by the traditional method in 5 different appellations: Vino de la Tierra de Zamora (Villanueva de Campeán), Toro, Arribes, Ribera and Bierzo
Aged in fine grain oak barrels, 300 liters for 10 months in the same wineries where it was made.
Once those wines separately reach their optimal maturation they are removed from barrel, to tank. They are left to decant and homogenize and are tasted. The result is the different proportions in the coupage. We wanted balance freshness roundness and strength thinking that it would hold up and evolve well for many years.
