The Advent calendar is a symbol of a season. It is a "countdown" calendar for the arrival of Christmas.
Its origins date back to the 19th century in Protestant Germany, where children would light a candle for each day of the Advent period. It would start on the Sunday that fell between November 27th and December 3rd, and go until Christmas Eve. Now it has become popular and adapted to run from December 1st to December 24th.
Following the Central European tradition of anticipating the arrival of Christmas with the surprise hidden behind each day from December 1st to December 24th, we are launching the 2023 Advent Calendar with an imported beer, specially selected to maintain the level of anticipation of what the next box will reveal.
