Mark: Quintana
The Quintana aged Mahon cheese is made with raw cow's milk from Frisian cows and belongs to the Mahon-Menorca designation of origin. It is matured for a minimum of 5 months on the island of Menorca, Spain.
It is one of the best Mahon cheeses and was awarded the Super Gold medal at the 2019/20 World Cheese Awards.
The cheese is made using traditional methods and careful attention to detail to achieve a high-quality cheese with an intense flavor. During the maturation process, the cheese develops a firm and slightly granulated texture, as well as an intense and balanced flavor with hints of saltiness.
Quintana aged Mahon cheese is ideal for pairing with red wine, accompanied by nuts, or as an ingredient in culinary dishes.
