The Vino Blanco Can Sumoi Perfum Ecológico from Bodega Can Sumoi (part of Raventós i Blanc group), presents this white wine from the D.O. Penedés, made from the grape varieties 30% Malvasía, 30% Macabeo, 25% Moscatel and 15% Parellada.

Elaboration: Crushed and softly pressed in an inert atmosphere, low-pressure pressing. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C, with indigenous vineyard yeasts for 18 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs spontaneously.

Bottling: Sealed with a natural cork from the Iberian Peninsula forest.

Recommended serving temperature: Between 6 and 8ºC.

Bodega Can Sumoi

Can Sumoi is the project of Pepe Raventós (Raventós i Blanc) born out of his passion for natural wines and his desire for research. After exploring the Penedés in search of high-altitude land, he finally finds it in Coll de les Ventoses, on a hill that rises 600 meters above sea level: the Sierra de l'Home, with a unique geology that gives the final product a unique character. There, he has recovered a biodynamic farm that has existed in Can Sumoi since 1645, where natural high-altitude wines are now produced with minimal intervention in their viticulture and winemaking processes.

D.O. Penedés

The land of D.O. Penedés is vast and open, stretching along a large strip of territory between the sea and the mountains, halfway between Barcelona and Tarragona.

In the heart of the Catalan Prelitoral Depression, between the Prelitoral Range and the small plains of the Mediterranean coast, the vineyards of Penedés ripen. Three distinct areas make up the Denomination of Origin: Penedés Superior (near the Prelitoral Range), Penedés Marítimo (along the coast and in the Litoral Range), and Penedés Central (between the two zones).

The region has a great diversity of microclimates, resulting from its coastal proximity and altitude. The climate is typically Mediterranean, meaning mild and warm. The Penedés Marítimo area (Baix Penedès and Garraf) is milder due to the influence and proximity of the sea. The Penedés Superior area (Alt Penedès, Alt Camp, Anoia, and Baix Llobregat) experiences more frequent rainfall and greater contrast between maximum and minimum temperatures. The Penedés Central area (mainly Alt Penedès) is a combination of both microclimates.
