Pastas y Hojaldres Uko, as the company is known today, was founded in 1958. It is dedicated to the production and sale of completely handmade products such as the famous Socorritos, Lazos al Chocolate, Pisuerguinas, Fine Tea Pastas, Tortos de Almendra, Sequillos ... and a few other delicacies of great success in the national market.

It would begin its activity as a cafeteria, in the center of the town of Cerverana, where Raquel began to make her so special and exquisite puff pastry. He would also have the entrepreneurial help of his brothers Luis, Pepe and Angel.

Uko was the one who, together with Raquel, decided to continue with the business, moving the small workshop from the Florida cafeteria to an old family sawmill where they could meet the growing production needs of the moment.

Things were going well, so in 1988 the construction of the new factory, located on the outskirts of the town, was completed, which would allow increasing its productive capacity, as well as the number of workers. It was also a good opportunity to expand the range of products and enter new markets.

Currently, the founders' nephews and grandchildren are those who carry out the management and administration functions of the company, maintaining the same recipes and procedures that their predecessors used and that so many palates have come to conquer.

Our factory is located in Cervera de Pisuerga, Palencia. In addition to the factory, we also have a small shop where we sell our products directly to the public.

With approximately 2500 square meters of facilities; well distributed between the factory, warehouse and offices, we try to modernize the production processes, as well as the entire infrastructure of which our company consists. With this we will be able to be more energy efficient, improve working conditions, reduce costs and develop new products in order to satisfy our consumer.
