A typical Ribera del Duero vintage, responding faithfully to the climatology. Hot summer with little rainfall, but with a correct development of the vegetation, as well as the grapes. September and October were warm and rain-free, favoring a correct and slow ripening with a high color and aroma content. This led us to harvest the grapes from our vineyard in the first weeks of October, obtaining an unbeatable ripening and quality.
After temperature-controlled fermentation, this wine remained 15 months in new French oak barrels mostly, with some American oak as well. After bottling it remains a few months in bottle rounding.
