Mezcal Derrumbes, presents us with Derrumbes Zacatecas, originating from the lands of Hacienda de Guadalupe, Zacatecas (Mexico), made from the varieties of agave Tequilana Weber
Derrumbes Zacatecas is made 100% from agave Tequilana Weber in the town of Huitzila, Zacatecas, just across the majestic ravine that separates it from the valley of Tequila. Being so close, Zacatecas is mainly known for mezcal produced in the style of Tequila. However, the Bañuelos family is one of the few that produces traditional mezcal in Zacatecas. Cooked in an earthen oven, ground in a tahona, and spontaneously fermented, Derrumbes Zacatecas is a rare opportunity to travel back in time and experience an older version of blue agave.
